Our first app has been submitted!

We’re proud to announce that our first app has been submitted to the iTunes App Store, and we’re eagerly awaiting word on its acceptance (or rejection).

It’s a book app, a lavish edition of Clement C Moore’s “Twas The Night Before Christmas” and it runs full screen and full resolution on all iPhones, iPod Touches, and iPads.

We went through a lot of effort to maintain the look and feel of a classic holiday story, even including the original illustrations by Jessie Willcox Smith, while updating it to take full advantage of today’s most modern devices.

Mr. Moore couldn’t imagine his story lasting as long as it has, or children reading it on the kinds of devices available.

Progress on Henry!

Much progress has been made recently on the story for “The Tree That Wanted More”. The plan is to finish the story, which is on track, then to finish the illustrations, then using the text and illo’s build out the website, create the ebooks, movie. and related merchandise like t-shirts and things. End of June is the target date for completion. Very exciting!

Teen Angst

Another story that’s been on the back burner but is now heating up, thanks mostly due to new delivery methods.  These stories will be geared towards the same or younger demographic that enjoys the Twilight/post-apocalypse genre. Not ready yet to announce a name, just wanted to share the idea and the preliminary art.

Professor Q

Here’s a quick illustration I did for a character designed to host a tutorials series. His name was Professor Q, and he was originally drawn in Photoshop.  The series is on the back burner for now, but the curriculum has been written. At the time, a few years back, he was intended to be delivered on DVD, but I’m currently eyeing new and exciting platforms for delivery.  Stay tuned!
